Reigning Cats & DogsSM began providing pet services in May of 1991. The company is owner-operated—not a franchise. At first offering only pet sitting, we added house sitting and boarding, with a twist—pet boarding in private homes where it becomes a part of the host family during its stay. Soon after, we added pet waste removal. We’ve always provided clients, with or without a pet, custom services.
From our first day, each of our Pet Service Providers has been an employee of the company—not an independent contractor. Our priority is achieving the highest level of service quality and absolute client satisfaction.

- You won’t be imposing on your friend, neighbor, or family member.
- We staff our phones from 9 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
- We constantly monitor our emails and voice mails, including evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure our response is timely.
- You can use our Client Portal to enter and manage all your reservations anytime.
- You can use mobile device technology to get Pet Service Provider feedback as you desire—even during a visit.
- We do not charge extra just because it is a holiday.*

- * House sitters are compensated an additional $30 for (only) the actual holiday when their stays include Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day due to long duration away from family.

Contemporary Technology
How we use it to your benefit—Each of our Pet Service Providers has a smartphone or other mobile device, and a company app, which allows them to communicate with (or to) you via a secure site during their visit to care for your pet.
Our Client Portal allows you to enter and maintain your information, and manage your reservations, all on that secure site: launch our website and select Client Login from the menu on any page.
For example:
- Register for an account online.
- Manage personal and pet details online.
- Add pictures of your pets to your account.
- Establish/modify your preferred payment method online.
- Reset your password without support help.
- Manage current and future reservations online.
- Schedule or make changes to reservations online with quick confirmation.
- Schedule multiple reservations and service types in one session.
- Receive reminders of upcoming reservations.
- View your account for all past, current, and future reservations.
- Easily cancel a reservation online with quick confirmation.
- Receive pictures and updates during a visit via text or email.
- Receive a pet visit Report Card via text or email.
- Communicate with your pet sitter via text or email.
- View online employee’s arrival and departure times and duration on-site.
- View Dog Walking, Power Walk, or Dog Run route and all stops and duration.

Maturity, experience, backup—We only hire those whom we firmly believe to be capable, detail-oriented, dedicated to your pets—and true animal lovers.
The employee you choose . . .
- Is our exclusive pet-care employee—we do not hire independent contractors.
- Has had a criminal background check performed by a law enforcement agency.
- Will be a mature adult over 23*—not a kid!
- Abides by our stringent code of ethics and performance standards.
- Will be your selection and may be changed as you see fit—we won’t force-fit.
- Lives and/or works in your community.
- Will suit your pet’s personality, disposition, and welfare needs.
- Is dedicated to the love and care of animals.
- Is bonded and insured against liability by the Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
- Is covered by Workers’ Compensation Insurance against injury in the workplace.
- *May be over 21 if the Pet Service Provider has a college degree.
Our Pet Sitters and House Sitters . . .- Include many veterinary technicians.

Meet the owner:
Chrisanne is owner and founder of the company, first offering service to the public in 1991. She loves animals and adopted both of her current cats—dumpster kitties, as she calls them. Her focus is administration and operations: Keeping clients and their pets happy and satisfied with Reigning Cats & DogsSM performance.

Insurance Matters
For our mutual peace of mind—For your protection as well as our own, we have in force a Dishonesty Bond, a Property Damage policy, a Personal Injury Liability policy, and Workers’ Compensation Insurance (against our employee’s injury while at work for you).
We are not self-insured nor do we leave it to our Pet Service Providers to provide their own bonding and/or liability insurance coverage. Each and every Reigning Cats & DogsSM Pet Service Provider is covered under our policies.
Workers’ Compensation insurance is required by the State of Georgia for each employee. Our Pet Service Providers are our employees and as such, they are covered under this policy.
