About Us

In Memoriam

Reigning Cats & Dogs, Inc. was founded in Atlanta by Chrisanne Ives in 1990. Her love of pets and passion for rescue animals fueled her desire to provide exceptional care to Atlanta’s most discerning pet parents. She worked tirelessly to ensure that every visit we provided exceeded our client’s expectations and met each pet’s unique needs.
While Chrisanne is no longer with us, her legacy inspires our dedication to quality service and loving care.

Today, Chrisanne's daughter, Jennifer, heads our Leadership Team

Meet Jennifer
Our Dedicated General Manager
Jennifer has called Atlanta home since she was a toddler, and her love for the city is matched only by her lifelong passion for animals. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgia State University, she spent 20 years in the software industry before following her heart back to the world of pet care. Now, as General Manager of Reigning Cats and DogsSM, she oversees daily operations, company administration, and even gets hands-on with pet care visits—because making tails wag is the best part of the job!
Jennifer’s connection to Reigning Cats and DogsSM runs deep. Her mother, Chrisanne Ives, founded the company in 1990, and Jennifer was there from the start, pet sitting through college. Now, she proudly carries on her mother’s legacy, leading a passionate team dedicated to serving Metro Atlanta’s most devoted pet parents.
When she’s not ensuring top-notch care for furry clients, Jennifer enjoys cooking, getting lost in a great book, and hiking the scenic trails of Roswell’s parks.
Fun fact: Jennifer has been a trusted pet sitter for decades before it was her job!

Meet Brenda
Our Amazing Operations Coordinator
Brenda has proudly called Metro Atlanta home for nearly 30 years. After moving to the city as a young adult, she took some time to explore different paths before earning her degree from Georgia State University. Little did she know, her journey would lead her to a career filled with wagging tails and happy paws!
As the Operations Coordinator at Reigning Cats & DogsSM, Brenda is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps everything running smoothly. She manages client requests, support, scheduling, payroll, and reservations, ensuring top-notch service for every pet and parent. And on the best days? She gets to step away from her desk and spend time with the pets she loves!
When she’s not managing the hustle and bustle of pet care, Brenda is a proud mom of three, often found cheering from the sidelines at a baseball or softball game. She also loves the outdoors and enjoys visiting local pet-friendly breweries with her husband—usually with one of their three dogs happily tagging along for the adventure!
Fun fact: Brenda recommends a tremendous pet-friendly hangout spot!

Meet Lisa
Our Senior Reservations Coordinator
Lisa has lived in Metro Atlanta for 33 years. Initially moving to the area for work, she quickly fell in love with the community—and its four-legged residents! She’s been integral to the Reigning Cats & DogsSM family since 1997 (28 years of dedicated pet care!). Lisa started as a pet sitter and even welcomed canine boarding clients into her home, where they got plenty of playtime with her beloved basset hound.
Lisa has a special place in her heart for cats, and since she can’t have them at home due to her husband’s allergies, she treasures every kitty cuddle during her pet-sitting visits. In addition to her hands-on work with pets, she’s our Senior Reservation Coordinator, ensuring every client gets the care they need.
Beyond Reigning Cats & DogsSM, Lisa has spent 30 years volunteering with Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia, helping find loving homes for these sweet, droopy-eared pups. As an adoption coordinator and foster, she’s helped countless bassets find their forever families.
At home, Lisa dotes on Olive, her special rescue, a basset hound with acute, incurable skin issues who couldn’t have found a more loving caretaker.
When she’s not surrounded by animals, Lisa enjoys acoustic music, getting lost in a good book, and going to the theater.
Fun fact: If there’s a basset hound in need, Lisa is always ready to help!
